Booking a special event
When choosing a venue for your wedding, holiday work party or birthday celebration, look no further than the University Union. The University Union boasts four unique venues that are available to reserve for just $300 per room. The Grand Ballroom, Heritage Room, Lamoine Room and Alumni Plaza are available to accommodate events of various sizes. The Grand Ballroom in particular, is the largest reception venue in the Macomb area, accommodating up to 500 guests. The perfect venue, paired with the assistance of the Scheduling & Event Services staff and catering of Sodexo Catering (see full menu below), will be sure to transform the event of your dreams into a reality!

Booking a meeting
WThe University Union is home to 12 meeting spaces that can accommodate 8 to 80 guests in a cozy or spacious setting. Room rental rates include setup of chairs, tables and stage. Additional resources available for bookings include everything from podiums and microphones to flags and easels. Just request the resources needed at the time the reservation is made, and we will make sure it is present for your event. Discounts may apply to groups using multiple rooms. The ideal space, paired with the assistance of the Scheduling & Event Services staff and catering of Sodexo Catering (see full menu below), will make booking your meeting or event with us a breeze!
